How to stop body policing and body shaming

Stop body policing and body shaming

Many ideals of beauty are racist and exclusive.

Time and time again society places an emphasis on being thin, small, dainty.

It’s as if the real message is, “Ladies, we’d really like you to take up less space.”

Reality check:
A healthy Great Dane, no matter how much she diets, will never be the size of a Pomeranian.

It’s physically impossible.

How might we stop body policing and body shaming and start expanding the conversation around what it means to have a beautiful, healthy body?
