Dearest SGI Goddess,

I much prefer a dinner party for six than a party for sixty.

It’s just who I am and how I’m wired.

How ‘bout you? Dinner party or disco ball? Or either, depending on your mood?!

Personally, I fancy fabulous fellowship via a thought-provoking conversation over a large gathering full of strangers just about any day ending in “y.”

Don’t get me wrong, I can navigate a party, pretend I’m running for Mayor, shake hands, clink glasses, circulate and smile.

But, for me, it’s a bit of an energy drain.

Whereas, a deep dive -- a truly magical conversation -- fuels me and restores me.

These shared connections ignite me and leave me better than when they found me.

Maybe that’s part of why I love coaching so much … the conversations are splendidly meaningful and transformative … for both of us.

And that’s a fabulous way to spend a day – doing something that expands your mind and heart.
